We have a wealth of Archery experience in the club Which ensures all members interests are in good hands.

The Committee are elected each year to look after the day to day and also long term interests of the club on behalf of the members.

A competitive archer with many medals to his name.

Member of the Glamorgan County team in 2009. Member of the Glamorgan training squad and Level 1 Club coach for many years.

Jointly responsible for developing the Castle Bowmen Junior Club and structuring the beginner coaching sessions.

Also holds a number of County and Welsh Records.

Enthusiastic and competitive member of the club.

Twice ranked #1 Lady Barebow in Wales

In her very first competitive year of archery achieved 3rd place in the Welsh Rankings, and in her 2nd year was ranked #2.

2019-2020 #1 Barebow in Wales and #12 in the UK.

- UK #1 Barebow team 2019

Holds many County and Welsh records for Barebow. Coordinates the Winter and Summer Postal league tournaments for the club.

Enthusiastic tournament competitor who also assists in the Beginners coaching and co-ordinating the Castle Bowmen Junior club. 

Experienced in Recurve. Barebow and Compound style of bows.

Head of Club Communications with members.

Longest serving member of Castle Bowmen. Level 1 Club coach for almost as long.

Held many important roles in the running of the club and always giving consistent support and assistance in everything he does.

- Welsh Recurve Champion  2010

- Welsh Barebow Champion 2016 AND 2019

- Glamorgan  County Champion on 12 occasions.

- #1 Barebow in Wales (twice) and #4 in the UK in 2019.

- UK #1 Barebow team 2019

Organiser of many tournaments including the Glamorgan County Indoor Championships for 10 years.

Many years shooting experience - Selected for the Welsh & County teams many times.

Holds numerous Recurve and Barebow Welsh and Glamorgan records.

Looks after the archery needs of the junior members - informing them of junior award schemes and which tournaments would be good for them to enter. Jointly responsible for developing the Junior club coaching sessions - Also a qualified club coach for a number of years.

Shot with the club for a number of years. Coming back to shooting after an injury.
